Custom Proposal

Every business or organization and their needs are unique so I like to take a beat, do some research, and put together a really great solution that is going to meet all your needs. I will email a proposal to you for your review. If you’re ready to roll, you can book online. I typically do a 50% deposit at booking with the remainder due at the end of the project. Your proposal includes a projected timeline so we can GET IT DONE!

Asset Gathering

First things first, I will put together a Google Drive with some Google Docs (free and easy to use if you’re not familiar!) to help you transfer files to me such as logos, images, videos, copy, etc. If you need help writing content for your website, I will help you!

Research

I always ask my clients to share websites that inspire you so I can get a feel for your brand, aesthetic, industry, etc. I can also help you research keywords for your SEO (search engine optimization) to ensure this fabulous new or refreshed website gets SEEN!

Homepage Draft

It’s go time. We have a plan, and we’re moving on it! I will draft a suggested homepage layout including navigation and design. Before I start rocking and rolling through the rest of the pages, you will review and submit any revisions you’d like for the homepage first.

Filling it Out

Once the home page is good to go, I will fill in the content on the rest of the pages. The number of pages for your website is specific to your business’s needs. You will get two opportunities to submit revisions to make sure everything is up to your standards.

What about SEO?

After the site has been designed - with careful consideration to include your keywords in the proper copy - I will also make sure that your design is responsive on different-sized computer monitors, tablets and phones. I will also add meta tags and image alt tags throughout your site to make sure your site ranks well on search engines!

Put it LIVE!

I will publish your website to your new or existing domain. At this time, you will activate your Squarespace subscription. You will be responsible for maintaining that ongoing.

Now What?

Sometimes a website needs a little tweak here or there after launch, so every website design package includes up to two hours of editing for the first 30 days after the site launch for minor edits.

Every website design package also includes a customized training video to help you make your own content edits if you choose. If you prefer for me to maintain your site, I can continue to edit for you for an hourly rate.
